Dhakai Jamdani saree is considered to be the most authentic kind of Jamdani saree as the craft started in Dhaka (hence called dhakai). The motifs mostly seen are floral, geometric and scenes from daily life. The colors in Dhakai Jamdani saree are bold and the motifs are beautiful but complex to make.
